Al Revisar el listado de los participantes en este evento el GM Chileno Rodrigo Vasquez no figuraba en ella

La fedach obtuvo su reinscripción mediante las siguientes gestiones :

For the present the Chilean Chess Federation requests explanation of GM Rodrigo Vasquez's participation in the WCC 2004, Tripoli - Libya :

With date 30 May of 2004 we receive and e-mail of the America's Continental President Mr. Jorge Vega informing us that due to vacancies for the World Championship WCC 2004 to be carried out in Tripoli - Libya, the Chilean GM Rodrigo Vazquez would participate in this Tournament.

With date 3 May 2004 we sent e-mail to FIDE Secretariat confirming the participation of the GM Rodrigo Vasquez, attached with the Undertaking, which was also sent by fax and air mail dated 4 May. The dead line to make it was the day 5 May.

With date 4 May by e-mail FIDE Secretariat confirmed the reception of the GM Rodrigo Vasquez Undertaking.

With date 4 May by e-mail Ms. Kema Goryaeva informed us that Rodrigo Vasquez's confirmation had not been received.

With date 4 May by e-mail Ms. Polina Tsedenova informed us that the undertaking had been received confirming the participation of the Chilean GM Rodrigo Vasquez and that Ms. Kema Goryaeva had made a mistake.

Until the moment the Chilean GM Rodrigo Vasquez doesn't appear in the list of confirmed players neither in the list of reservations for the WCC 2004 to be carried out in Tripoli - Libya.

We request you to clarify this situation.

We attach list of Americas Qualifiers for the World Chess Championship 2004 where appears Chilean GM Rodrigo Vasquez

i received this from mr.alfonso palma, president of the chile chess federation.

i really do not know what s happening because on request of the wccc and due to the vacancies, i sent the names of the substitutes according with the ranking of the continental championship, in which gm vazquez was included.
